I’ve been with Anglian Leisure Linton since January 2025 following 25-years in the Royal Navy, where I served as a Physical Training Instructor of which the last 10+ years I was also a specialist exercise rehabilitation instructor, helping wounded service personnel back to the front line. Since departure from the Military in 2024 I completed a year as an Operations Manager at a leisure facility, specialising in Health and Safety, before joining the Anglian Learning Trust. With an extensive background in competitive swimming from youth, right through to master’s and coaching as a qualified Level 2 ASA Coach and working towards civilian accreditation as a PT, I am passionate about health and fitness and look forward to continually driving improvement to provided services and routines to the betterment of the surrounding community.

Hi, I’m Nathan and I’ve been working at Anglian Leisure Linton for five years as a Duty Manager. I help keep the gym running smoothly every day by supporting members and most frequently tackling maintenance jobs around the facility. There’s rarely a challenge I won’t roll up my sleeves to solve!
When I’m not at the centre, you’ll probably find me under the bonnet of a car, fixing and restoring vehicles, or out enjoying a ride on my motorbike. My practical, hands-on approach and love of problem-solving makes me super reliable with a toolbox and committed to making sure every member has a great experience every time they visit.

Hi, I’m Aleena and I’ve been working at Anglian Leisure Linton for 3 years as a duty manager. I love being part of a team that helps people stay active, have fun, and enjoy everything our facilities have to offer.
Outside of work, I’m a passionate PE teacher, so staying active and encouraging others to enjoy sport and exercise is a big part of who I am. I am also a dedicated gymnast and enjoy teaching gymnastics to young children, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and have lots of fun along the way.
Whether I’m coaching, teaching, or around the centre, you’ll usually find me with a smile on my face and happy to help.

Hi I’m Freya and I have been working at Anglian Leisure Linton...
Hi I’m Freya and I have been working at Anglian Leisure Linton for 2 1/2 years. In 2025, I became a Casual Duty Manager, where I’ve had the opportunity to take on lots of opening shifts, develop my skills, and gain valuable experience across the centre.
I really enjoy working at Anglian Leisure Linton and have built some amazing friendships over the years. One of my favourite parts of the role is getting to meet new people and helping to create a welcoming, friendly environment for everyone who visits.
Every day brings something different, and I love being part of a team that supports both each other and our local community. Whether I’m opening the centre, helping customers, or making sure everything runs smoothly, I always aim to make every visit a positive experience.
Outside of working at Anglian Leisure Linton, I am in the (fairly long) process of setting up my own local dog walking and pet sitting business. I have always been around animals from a young age and love their company. Caring for pets has always been something I’m passionate about, so turning that passion into a business venture is really exciting. I enjoy spending time outdoors, getting to know different pets and their personalities, and giving owners peace of mind that their furry family members are in safe and caring hands.
I do like to attend the gym sometimes, mainly focusing on walking/ stair-mastering or lifting weights to build my legs, core and arm muscles ready to walk dogs!
I hope to see you around the centre and help you as much as possible 🙂

Hi! I’m Sophie and I’ve been part of the Anglian Leisure Linton team for over five years as a Duty Manager, helping to keep the centre running smoothly and making sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit.
When I’m not at the leisure centre, you’ll find me working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. I really enjoy supporting children and helping them grow, and I’m currently exploring future opportunities in childcare.
As for fitness… well, my interests are definitely more food-related than gym-related! While I can tell you where all the equipment is, I’m probably more excited about what’s for dinner than smashing a new personal best. Thankfully, working at a leisure centre helps me keep a good balance.

I joined Anglian Leisure in early 2023, initially as a member attending fitness classes, where I quickly discovered a genuine passion for health, fitness, and the leisure industry. This passion inspired me to pursue a career within the organisation, starting as a Leisure Attendant and progressing to Duty Manager. Alongside my role, I achieved my Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification, which enabled me to begin leading bootcamp sessions at Linton. Building on this, I went on to complete my Level 3 Personal Training qualification. I now have the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, supporting and motivating them to achieve their individual fitness goals. Outside of work, I continue to develop my own fitness by training regularly in the gym!

Hi, my name is Sammy and I’ve been a Duty Manager at Anglian Leisure Linton for the past four years. No two days are ever the same, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about the role.
Last year, I took on my biggest role yet—becoming a first-time mum! It’s definitely been my toughest (and most rewarding) job so far. I’ve become an expert in functioning on less sleep than I’d ever thought possible, and my multitasking skills have reached a whole new level! When I’m at work, I enjoy supporting both our team and our members, and I’m always happy to help with any questions or make your visit a great one. Whether I’m managing the centre or chasing after a busy toddler, there’s never a dull moment!

Hi, I’m Gracie and I’ve been a part of the team here at Anglian Leisure Linton for just over a year. During that time, I’ve really enjoyed getting to know our members, supporting the day-to-day running of the centre, and helping to create a welcoming environment for everyone. I recently stepped into the role of Duty Manager, which has been a great opportunity to take on more responsibility and continue developing my skills. Outside of work, I’ve recently completed my A-levels and am currently planning my next adventure—travelling! I’m looking forward to exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and making plenty of memories along the way.
