Team Members
Our team at Anglian Leisure Netherhall is made up of dedicated staff who help keep the centre welcoming, safe and running smoothly every day. Led by our Sports Centre Manager, we have a fantastic group of Duty Managers and Leisure Assistants who bring a mix of experience, energy and passion to the facility.
Many of our team members studied at Netherhall School or progressed through the 6th Form, while others have joined us from outside the community, bringing fresh skills and perspectives. Together, we’re proud to create a supportive environment where members, visitors and local clubs can enjoy sport, fitness and wellbeing.

Hi, my name is Laurence and I am the Sports Centre Manager at Anglian Leisure Netherhall, I joined the site in October 2022 coming from other sports facilities backgrounds.
I oversee the day-to-day operation of our facilities, ensuring the centre runs smoothly, safely and provides a welcoming environment for all our members, clubs and visitors.
I’m passionate about creating a vibrant community space where people of all ages can enjoy sport, fitness and wellbeing. If you ever need support, have questions, or want to know more about what we offer, please feel free to come and speak to me I’m always happy to help.

Hi, my name is Jamal and I’m a Duty Manager at Anglian Leisure Netherhall.
I help oversee the day-to-day running of the Sports Centre, ensuring everything is safe, welcoming and operating smoothly for our members, clubs, and visitors.
I’m passionate about creating a positive experience for everyone who uses our facilities, and I’m always happy to help if you need support or have any questions while on site.
I am currently doing a degree at ARU Cambridge and playing professional basketball and enjoy going to the gym, I hope to see you all soon.

Hi, my name is Leodhas and I’m a Duty Manager at Anglian Leisure Netherhall.
I’ve been part of the team since 2016, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the centre and helping to create a welcoming environment for everyone who visits.
Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time in nature something that keeps me energised and ready for the busy days here at the Sports Centre. Whether you need assistance, have a question, or just want to say hello, I’m always happy to help.
